Boxing Bodies

Site specific installation shown at gallery Kungstensgatan 27, Stockholm, 2016.

 I build boxes. It’s repetitive work. I measure, control, cut and glue. I stack up these hollow cardboard boxes in the display window of the gallery and I continue this process until I hit the walls and ceiling. Each one of the boxes has the exact same volume as my body. Behind this wall of boxes, the floor is filled up with the waste material from the building process.

The installation Boxing Bodies was seen only from the outside, through a large display window facing the street, and through a glass door on the side.

Materials: cardboard, wood, paint and glue. 
Approximate size 3 x 2 x 2 meters.
